The Liverpool bit is a very popular driving bit.   The cheek allows for a choice of rein settings with the bottom slot providing the most leverage.   This particular bit has a mouthpiece that is narrower than most.   For reference, the last photo shows a penny behind it.   This makes it a little more severe than the thicker styles since the pressure is not disbursed over as large of an area.  The thinner mouthpiece usually increases responsiveness.  The cheeks are the swivel style and are a bit more refined than most.  "
Stainless
Steel" is marked on the mouthpiece.   Includes curb hooks & chain.
This bit is used but in excellent condition.
It has some marks from normal use, but nothing that should effect its performance in any way.   On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being new, mint condition, I would give this bit an 8+++.
A nice quality bit in a harder to find style.
