EMPEROR NORTON REPRODUCTION NOTES SETThese are replicas of three of his issued notes.
Joshua Abraham Norton (February 4, 1818 – January 8, 1880), known as Emperor Norton, was a citizen of San Francisco, California, who proclaimed himself "Norton I, Emperor of the United States" in 1859. In 1863 he took the secondary title of "Protector of Mexico" after Napoleon III invaded Mexico.
EBAY POLICY FOR REPLICA CURRENCY: Paper money reproductions (color or black and white) can only be listed if they are one-sided and less than 75% or greater than 150% of the size of the genuine item. The listing must include an image of the paper currency. Images that are dark, out of focus, edited, or misleading aren't allowed. In addition to including appropriate photos, listings for replica paper money must clearly state that the item is a "reproduction," "replica," or "copy" in both the title and description.
As with my other notes front and back are printed on two separate sheets with the word "COPY" on the back of each sheet. The notes are smaller than the originals. This is to comply with eBay policy and Federal Law concerning replica currency.
