Pick # 20a and serial number A0782C 0134211. Graded 65 Exceptional Paper Quality Gem Uncirculated by PMG.
A note that is flawless, with the same freshness, crispness and bright color as when first printed. It must be perfectly centered, with full margins, and free of any marks, blemishes or traces of handling. What a great example for an ideal banknote.
Serial number printed in red ink on the front of the note. Black on light blue and gray underprint. Portrait of Nolsoyar Pall at left. Back blue on green underprint; drawing of homes and church across center. Year signified by two middle digits of series number (not serial number). Watermark: Chain Links. Nólsoyar Páll is a Faroese national hero. He was a seaman, trader, poet, farmer and boat builder who tried to develop direct trade between the Faroes and the rest of Europe and introduced vaccination to the islands.
