    USS MISSOURI BB-63 United States Navy Ship cover honoring battleships
    postmarked first day of issue from Liberty, MO on June 15, 2020.
    Color photo cachet #9939 by Alvin Eckert, USCS #9964. Cover franked with a 3 cent
    Naval Review stamp # 1416 on a 55 cent flag stamped gummed envelope U-700 (FDOI).
    This famous 888 foot Iowa Class battleship was the Tokyo Bay
    surrender site for the end of WW II in the Pacific. She also deployed in Korean
    waters five times between 14 Sept 1950 and 25 March 1953. She is currently open
    to the public at Ford Island in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. See web pages for details

    The USPS issued a new stamp #5392 for the ship in 2019.
